Frequently Asked Questions
What type of hair are your wigs made from? All Second Bloom wigs are made from 100% premium human hair. This means they move, feel, and look completely natural — and can be washed, styled, and heat-treated just like your own hair.
How much do your wigs cost? Our wigs are priced from $949 AUD. We've worked hard to keep our pricing honest and competitive — premium human hair wigs elsewhere can cost significantly more. We believe you shouldn't have to compromise on quality during an already difficult time.
Do you offer payment plans? We're working on this — stay tuned. In the meantime, please reach out to us at hello@secondbloomwigs.com.au and we'll do our best to help.
How long does shipping take? We ship Australia-wide via standard post. Delivery typically takes 5–7 business days from the date of dispatch. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
What is your returns policy? We understand that buying a wig online is a big decision. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, we accept returns as long as the lace is uncut and the wig is in its original, unaltered condition. What cap sizes do you offer? Our wigs come in Small, Medium, and Large cap sizes. If you're unsure of your size, reach out to us and we'll guide you through measuring your head at home — it's easier than you think.
What hair lengths are available? Most styles are available in lengths from 10 inches to 20 inches. Length options are listed on each individual product page.
Can I colour or bleach my wig? Because our wigs are made from real human hair, they can technically be coloured. However, we strongly recommend visiting a professional wig stylist rather than doing this at home, as the process can affect the longevity of the hair. We also offer a customisation service — book a consultation and we can talk through colour options with you.
What is a lace front wig? A lace front wig has a sheer lace panel along the hairline that creates the illusion of a natural hairline. The hair appears to grow directly from your scalp, making it virtually undetectable. All Second Bloom wigs use lace front construction for the most natural look possible.

I'm going through chemotherapy. When is the best time to get a wig? Our founder has been through this herself and her advice: as early as you feel ready. Many women find it helpful to choose a wig before hair loss begins so it can be matched closely to their natural colour and style. But there's no wrong time — we're here whenever you're ready.
